Boston Ivy is a stately, classic vine that will climb on walls, cling to fences and crawl on the ground. It can create privacy, prevent erosion or simply lend an old-world elegance on a wall or column. The glossy 3-lobed leaves turn from deep green to fiery red in fall. The deciduous woody vine is just as graceful in the winter, as the exposed vines give a stately, ancient feeling to gardens. This vigorous vine will grow 30-50 feet long and will need frequent pruning unless unrestricted growth is preferred.
